About Tamarack carpentry

I have been a carpenter for approximately 17 years working for other companies and have now decided to work for myself to pursue projects that interest me and challenge my skill set.

I would say that my ability to communicate with my clients, to understand what they are looking for, and being able to provide options to suit their needs are my strengths. I pay attention to detail, I have a strong background in building science (why a building rots, how water gets in, etc.) and I am passionate about making a stack of wood into something that will last. 

I can take on most projects, from simple garden sheds, decks, or pergolas to complex basement developments (such as granny suites or home theatres) and garages. However I really enjoy building custom saunas!
